This hidden gem and protected monument, completely surrounded by docks, is characterized by its distinctive shed roofs and robust red brick facade, combined with rich blue – and white natural stone. These sheds were named after the capital of Uruguay and formerly served as a warehouse for food and other goods imported from South America for over 100 years.
The building comprises approximately 9,500 m2 of office space with a spacious underground parking area and will serve as the flagship of We Are One World. In addition, the building will offer space for other offices and ad a conference center.
A rare combination of protected heritage, sustainability (Breeam Excellent), and a design by Dieter Vandervelpen, ensuring a unique environment for many years to come.
In addition, the smart building technology ensures optimal comfort for end users. The plans were specifically designed to promote social interaction, making this project a leader in both ecological and
social sustainability. As icing on the cake, an internal green patio was integrated, seamlessly merging indoor and outdoor areas.
